Anytime you speak to her about Spanish or have class with her you feel her passion and joy in talking and teaching the language. Anything she taught felt interesting and she always made sure I understood by encouraging me to ask any questions. "I remember how nervous I felt during our first lesson. I wanted to understand things so that Aunty Angie would not have to "teach so hard". I didn't know then that for someone who loves what they are doing, they never have a hard time doing it. I enjoyed being taught as much as she enjoyed teaching. Teaching is the greatest act of optimism. I think Collen Wilcox wanted to express the positive nature in which teaching is found. Forcing one to take in and put out information will erode the goodwill that teaching intends. Auntie Angie thank you for the patience you have shown in teaching us over the past school year.
